Thoughts Become Movie
Kabbalists have long known that our thoughts shape what we perceive as reality every bit as much as reality shapes our thoughts. We are more than mere observers of reality – we are creators. It is we who produce and direct our own movie – the same movie in which we ourselves are the stars.
What kind of movie would you like to create today? Love story? Comedy? Drama?
-
God in Everyone
God is in everyone. Imagine what a difference it would make if we always kept that in mind. We’d be less inclined to give the business to the waiter for messing up our order, or telling someone off who hurt our feelings. We may justify our actions – for example, by pointing out someone’s faults – but in those moments of “losing it” on someone, we are the ones who lose.
-
Acting On Wisdom
Information doesn’t make us spiritual. We have to act on it. When someone asks us for help, are we quick to say yes...or no? When a difficult person shows up in our life, do we embrace him/her as someone sent to teach us something, or just another hassle to deal with?
Today, think about a teaching that resonates with you. Ask yourself if you are living it. If you are not (or not as much as you can), that’s OK. Recognition is the first step.
-
Exercise Your Appreciation
One of the keys to fulfillment is consciously evoking the feeling of appreciation. This practice alone can make a huge difference. For most of us, taking time to feel appreciation is the last thing on our minds, because we’re too busy chasing after more. Yet many of us are still chronically under-satisfied.
Exercising appreciation for what we already have is the remedy.
-
With Great Care
We have to feel an enormous amount of care if we want to help someone. It’s not how much we know, but how much we care, that creates miraculous changes.
-
Out of Control
To gain control, you must give it up. Therein lies the ultimate paradox. Be extra conscious that you do not act alone. Be more aware that you are a part of a master plan that includes the rest of the people in this universe. Resist those seductive thoughts telling you that you are the centre of the universe, the master of your domain.
Remember, you are part of a larger picture. This enlightened consciousness will prevent your impure actions from hurting others, and allow your positive actions to increase the radiance of light in this world.
-
Celebrate the Failing
Don’t be afraid of failing. We actually reveal more Light for ourselves and for the world when we fall and then get up again. If we never fall, we stay exactly where we are. And while time may move us forward physically, spirituality we never advance.
Failing may batter our self-esteem, triggering depression or anxiety, which are natural reactions to a difficult situation. But respond by being kind to yourself. Try not to beat yourself up.
In fact, celebrate having fallen. It’s a sign you’re moving up.
-
Turn the Cheek
Forgiveness. It is not our responsibility to nurse grudges, butrather to show love and compassion, especially to those who have hurt us.
Turn the other cheek today.
-
It’s Not Personal
Today’s motto: Don’t take challenging people or situations personally. See them as opportunities to NOT react. If you really want to change and become a better version of yourself, than pay attention to how you respond in difficult moments. People or circumstances aren’t the test – your lack of reaction is.
Today, instead of blaming others - or yourself – focus on the grains of good and know that this proactive choice will help you climb a rung on the ladder leading to your next level.

Secret of Happiness
To live a happy, fulfilled, and purposeful life every day is not just a dream; it is our daily responsibility. All we need is sharing. That’s because giving is the direct pathway to happiness – we need the uncomfortable process of uprooting ego to experience true fulfillment.
Share today. The more uncomfortable, the happier you will be.
